This morning I was sitting on my phone like I usually do. As I sat I don't remember why but I opened my notes app and started to write a sentence. Here is what I wrote:

What does this mean? What does this look like? How can this truth help shape your life and daily routine?
What does this mean?
Whether you were aware of it or not the devil has interfered in your life many times. It doesn't matter if you have even accepted God into your life...the devil tries to be a part of yours. Those feelings of loneliness, depression, and anxiety are most definitely not things of God. The same guy who was kicked out of heaven tries to give you advice on a daily basis. This makes me laugh. Why would I ever listen to that guy? It's easier said then done but don't take advice from that voice in your head.
What does this look like?
"I don't have time!"
"I'll read the word later."
"I am too tired to go to church today, I'll go next week"
"I can pray later."
"I have time!"
"Scrolling on tiktok and Instagram is bad but everyone else does it so it's ok."
"I can hang out with friends even though I haven't made time for God today."
Stop reading this. Seriously I know it's good (this is me being sarcastic) but stop. Check your screen time. I bet you it is nowhere near the amount of time you have spent with Christ this week. I can say the same. I spend more time looking at the rectangular screen than with the man who created the phone and everything to ever exist. Isn't that sad? That number of hours is a clear example of the "nothing but time" mindset.
The fact is I know its the devil creating the temptation but I am the one who is abusing the time. Time on earth is temporary and the devil is going to try and make you waste as much of it as you can. We have to be more aware.
What now?
Well now with the power of your free will you get to make a choice. You can either completely ignore what is written in this short blog post. I mean you can totally believe, "out of sight out of mind."
Or you can make the active choice to realize the truth and the danger in ignoring it. What I have done in the past is set specific times for prayer, set time limits for my apps, and realized that when you limit worldly things you gain time for the important ones.
Stop believing what the devil tells you. Stop buying into the idea that you have time for everything. Start acting on your faith and start walking with God.
P.S I know this blog post was super short but I just wanted to keep it short and sweet!! Stop laying in bed and start seeking God.
